Never gives out a perfect grade on a speech. He is a nice guy in general, but often says that we should try not to impress him because he has seen it all.

CA 100 is one of the Comm A credits so it really isn't too hard of a class. Mr. Brayton is great at what he does. He gives amazing feedback and really helps you hone in on the assignments. The grading is fair and the time for the assignments is sufficient. Personally speaking and writing are not my strong suit but I still made it through this class

Lecture can be heavy and dry at points, but some of the topics are fascinating and this course does teach you some practical editing skills unlike CA155/355. Brayton seems to be a tough grader initially but he gives amazing feedbacks and helps you improve during one-on-one sessions. Projects do take a lot of time and effort though, be prepared.
