Tom's content is really engaging and he does a fantastic job of working through and presenting text analyses. I found all the papers to be enjoyable to write, and all the assigned readings/screenings were great. He's very clear about tests and paper guidelines. Keep up with the readings and pay half attention in lecture, and you'll do fine.Rate My Professors ↗

As with most literature classes I have taken he seemed relatively naive to the fact that people do not do the readings. He summarized the readings well though and presented topics clearly. He encourages participation, and is overall not a terrible teacher if you need to take a literature class.Rate My Professors ↗
