Professor Linsmeier is one of the brightest minds in accounting. Learning from him is an incredible opportunity that no accounting student should pass up. Professor Linsmeier is easily the smartest person Ive ever met. However, this class was an ulcer. Long readings and notes due before each class. In class group questions each class that are basically a quiz. Big semester long group paper which hinges on a good group. Prof Linsmeier is fantastic. He's very passionate and will help you learn. The class is by no means easy, but it will make you a better accountant. It's very rare to get a class taught by a former FASB board member, so take it if you can. Highly recommended.Rate My Professors ↗
This was Prof. Linsmeier's first class since returning to Madison as a professor. He is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about the material, easy to talk to, and has had a very interesting career that showed through in his lectures.
