About this rating

Raw average: 5.00/5 from 3 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Attendance is not mandatory but, in this class, there is a reflection and quiz every week they're not hard and the quiz has only 4 questions. She cares about what she teaches and loves when class is involved! If you read the material or even just show up to class this is an easy class.

SOC365 Prof. Tamkinat Rauf is passionate and genuinely cares about teaching and social research. She is very organized, thorough, and clearly wants her students to succeed. Lectures can feel long, and there are weekly projects, but she is generous with time and deadlines. Exams do reflect what is taught. Overall, a supportive prof who cares.

I loved Professor Rauf. Such a fun class. If you are doing 75-minute lectures, they can get long, but overall, she was a great teacher and very engaging with our class. Definitely recommend!!!
