Not a bad class if looking for an easy credit or an introduction to global health. Some of the topics were a bit biased, but the course was more than manageable.

Dr. P is super knowledgeable and really cares about global health. Class lectures are boring and just busywork, but attendance is required (they do take attendance). Capstone project was really interesting and fun, and class flow is a good pace and makes sense.

If you have a pulse and do all the work, you can pass this class. As an introductory course, the professors and TA's are very hesitant to take off points on your work even when you do the bare minimum like I did. I managed to get a grade over 100% after the course, and with drops, I didn't have to engage with the course after Thanksgiving. Easy A.

she's annoying and assigns weird deadlines in the middle of the day (the assignments says due on Thursday but the first 1/2 is due Tuesday with no reminder) of the day, Will not give you an extension, but the class is easy but extremely boring. I don't think she even teaches the class that often always lets someone else do the lectures.

I loved Dr. Paskewitz and wish she taught more of nutri sci 203! She is very knowledgeable and passionate about teaching. I learned so much from her and she has definitely furthered my interest in global health. There was a lot of content in the lectures, but she provides study packs that guide you through the lectures. Know that info for exams!

One of the easiest, yet most interesting courses I've taken on campus. Online modules can be long and exhausting, but are filled with informative, necessary content. Good topic variety and mostly clear grading criteria. No exams, 4 "portfolios" (6 pts). 8 open-note quizzes on class content, only 4 points each, plus attendance and discussion posts.

Such an easy class with clear outlines for the work each week. Understanding professor with really cool guest speakers and lectures.

This woman is a gem. Anyone remotely interested in ANY aspect of global health (healthcare, environment, economy, government) should take this class because there is something for everyone. This class convinced me to major in global health and I wish I could take it again. Prof Paskewitz is engaging, passionate, and really cares about her students.

Dr. Paskewitz taught the second half of Nutr Sci 203 and did a wonderful job. She is such a smart person and presented her lecture material in a fascinating way. Really sad that I could not have spent more time as her student. She was wonderful and a true gem at this university.

AWESOME PROF. Although I don't love how the class is structured, Prof Paskewitz made the class as easy as possible and was an amazing lecturer. It's obvious she is super passionate about what she does, which makes the class much more enjoyable.

Loved this class. There were three professors who rotated on providing lectures, the class was asynchronous and the content was easy to follow with a module a week and a discussion board to post three times a week. No exams, three or four quizzes.

Dr. P is the smartest person I have ever met. She truly cares about her students and knows everyone's names in our entire lecture. Lecture is super interesting but be ready for gross pictures. I learned a ton in this course and I really liked the lab component. Overall an amazing course that I would highly recommend!

If you have the chance take her, she is a gem. The smartest person I have ever met and she genuinely cares about her students.

Dr. Paskewitz is very laid-back and optimistic yet still cares about your education and is always there if you need advice or help. She is great at helping you make connections to others on campus which is beyond helpful. The class itself was a part of my FIG: One Health and was easy yet interesting and engaging (we got to go on a few field trips).

I had Dr. Paskewitz in a cross listed EntoNutri Sci class. She made lecture worth coming to. Her lectures were interesting and kept me engaged the whole time, which is saying something for a power-lecture. Recommend the class to anyone starting the Global Health certificate. Watch out for the other course professor, she's entertaining but nuts.
