I had a really great time in Prof Roberts class! She was super kind, and really helped ease my transition into college. The class was super easy and was mostly composed of short assignments and in class small group and large group discussions. She was clearly very passionate about her work which kept the class engaging and fun.

Super caring person who generally took interest in her students and was optimistic about them doing well in the class. Homework assignments were short readings/videos with replies. Grades come from group or optional individual assignments/papers. The class was general and focused on a broad list of social problems that provoked class discussions.

Steph does a great job engaging her students, and she cares so much about her students that she spends the time memorizing everyones name with their face. She is very passionate about social welfare, and you can tell she has a lot of experience with it. I would take this class again in a heartbeat, I wish she taught more classes!

Extremely hands on and helpful. Very energetic about everything we did in class. I always felt that I could go to her for help and she was a very effective communicator and understanding grader. I will definitely try to take her classes in the future. A lot of group work in this particular class but it's all done in class. Final was a 2 page paper.
