She is very knowledgable. But she rarely gets to show her expertise because so much information is packed into the lecture slides. This class is very easy but boring. Lectures were mostly just dumping information on you rather than teaching you.

Stavroula is nice & the content itself can be interesting, but lectures are so boring because she reads off the slides (which come straight off the textbook). Easy class but there're other easy A options w/ less busy work. Weekly quizzes are open note, but the 15 min timer was way too harsh to finish anything in time & questions were unpredictable.

Guaranteed A. No one showed up to class the lectures were not very helpful. Weekly quizzes that you get 15 minutes on, and I don't know how anyone could complete them in time. Overall, some useful information. She's a nice professor who I am sure means well, but just kind of all over the place. Crazy syllabus, I'll say that.

Stavroula doesn't really do anything. This entire course is basically an online textbook. Your professor is McGraw Hill Connect, not Stavroula Antonopoulos. The lectures are dry, and just repeat whatever is in the textbook. Within a few weeks of the semester, nobody shows up to the lectures anymore. The class is an easy A but painfully boring.

Good professor and very knowledgable, easy class but lots of busy work each week (chapter quizzes and long assignments), everything is online and open notes, participation is often required as she does attendance questions during lecture.

Easiest class you'll ever take, but also a genuinely very good professor. If you are interested in nutrisci and need/want to learn, you definitely will. But if you want to fulfill a science gen ed by putting in as little effort as possible, this is your best bet.

Stavroula was a great professor and I loved her class! All exams were open note, online, and you could take them at any time over the course of a week. Participation is graded for maybe 2/3 of lectures, but she drops the worst 7 and is super understanding of extenuating circumstances. Engaging lectures and easy grader as well!

When many people in the class were complaining that we didn't have enough time on the weekly quizzes, she told us that as long as some people are getting good scores that it was "fair". We get the same amount of time for the final exam as the other exam but there are 25 more questions than normal. She was not willing to change her mind on anything.

Excellent class and professor! I would say it will be difficult not to get an A. Due to many extra points, most people have grades above 100%.

Most people (myself included) take this class as a GPA-booster, Stavroula did a great job for having 400+ enrolled in her class. Expectations laid out very clearly in the syllabus, pretty light workload, some useful insights into nutrition, interesting guest speakers in lectures. Solid freshman year class to knock out some science credits.

Professor Antonopoulos is great. She deeply cares for her students and is always more than willing to help. Her course is super chill and genuinely interesting if you're into nutrition. Exams and quizzes are online.

This class is an easy A but Professor Antonopoulos presents the content in a very dry manner and the assignments are really poorly worded and redundant.

Professor Stavroula is an amazing teacher!! Good lecture, reasonable class mode very professional, thoughful minds. I would recommend this class to everyone. You can learn useful nutritional acknowledge as well. You won't want to miss it.

This class is an easy way to get your biological science credit. All of the quizzes and tests are online, at home, and open note. Attendance is mandatory in the lectures for class credit. She is a good lecturer but there is so many people in the class it's hard to actually gain anything from the lectures.

NS132 was a very easy class to take freshman year. Graded by weekly quizzes and discussions, and a few exams. Not too much work outside of lecture. Professor is very easy going.

Great Professor and Great class class is structured in a very nice and organized way same 2 assignments every week a low stakes quiz and a fair discussion post. Lecture always chill and she does care about her students. 3 Final options Overall couldn't be any better

Prof. Antonopoulos is the best instructor I have ever had. She made everything super clear and all the work was super easy. I felt that I really learned something about Nutrition. I am not a science major and I just took this class to fulfill a bio science credit and it was the perfect choice. As long as you turn in work, you will pass.

If you need to fulfill a science credit, I 100% recommend Nutri Sci with Professor Antonopoulos. Everything was posted and online (quizzes, discussions, exams, lecture notes) so it was extremely accessible. Additionally, she gives you 3 options for the final. She is super nice and cares about her students! Super easy and interesting class!

Really easy class. Structured really well and there were no surprises. As long as you tried, you did well. The class is textbook heavy and all she does is go over the textbook. She's nice and the class is easy.

I really enjoyed this professor. She was very sweet and her class was taught well. The grading criteria was also very clear. The tests and homework assignments were all online so it wasn't hard to do well in this class. I definitely recommend taking this class with this professor especially if you need bio credits.

All assignments and tests were organized from the start of class. Lectures were not mandatory and content was always posted on canvas, which was very helpful. Class was interesting and easy to stay on top of, great professor!
