Stacey is awesome. She's just a great human. There are a lot of readings, but if you miss a few you're fine. Stacey has a lot of knowledge in her area and is good at communicating it.

Great class. Professor Lee is fantastic-she's passionate and does her best to instill that passion in her students. Did about half of the readings and relied on google book's excerpts for the papers. Only downside is the lack of clarity on what is expected in each paper; a rubric would've been nice. You're also only allowed one absence.

Stacey Lee is overall a good teacher but there were a few things that I didn't care for. First of all she name drops like crazy. She has a sort of superiority complex about her too. At the same time, she is driven, nice, and helpful. Took her in a FIG. Immigrants in US Schools; no tests, 2 papers, 2 projects, 1 book. Lots of reading.

Stacey is the jam. She is super nice, passionate, and makes class engaging. Lectures ran a little long but overall she mixes things up with group discussion. I got an A with reading half of half the books, so if you engage during class time and read a bit, you'll be great. Take the class for sure.

Stacey is an intelligent professor who engages her students in thoughtful discussion. The topics of EdPol570 were interested, even for someone just taking it for the Ethnic Studies requirement. Clarity on expectations was severely lacking, however, and your papers will be judged on a rubric you have never seen or heard of before.

All the classes are based around discussion of the texts. Good class to satisfy ethnic studies!

she made a topic i had no interest in appealing, have to read approx 7 books, but can get away with only buying 3 if you are good, only 3 papers for the class 2 5 page and one 12 page, i suck at writing and still got an A!
