For ECE 340, Srdjan is an enthusiastic professor. He is what I would describe as a very stereotypical engineering professor. The format of the class was three lectures a week, with one homework due on Friday. I felt like he cared about us and our understanding of the material. He worked throughout the semester on critiques that students gave.

He cares a lot about students learning the material and actually being able to apply it, however it comes off as him being a "difficult" professor, however, the nature of the course is already difficult. Going to office hours was useful as he will walk you through problems and ask for student feedback on his teaching.

Hard to understand his handwriting but you get used to it.He graded based on whether he thinks you understand the concept or not, by looking at your answers for the exam. He actually cares for his students (if you care for your class). He's pretty decent but could be rude at times. Went through lecture at a fair speed except for the last 2 classes.

Srdjan was an amazing lecturer. Show up to class, you'll pass. Exams were really fair and homeworks were simple if you attended lecture. Attend office hours if you struggle with concepts, but overall I would highly recommend Srdjan as he made the concepts easy for me.

Good guy, great handwriting, passionate, people who fail probably don't show up, that's on them, don't listen to those bums.

I genuinely don't understand the hate that Srdjan recieves. Sure his handwriting is messy but If you actively listen in class you will have no trouble understanding it because he says almost everything that he writes down. He is very well spoken and easy to follow. The exams are difficult but very manageable.

I usually never make ratings ever, because I like to give benefit of the doubt, however I will just say that you do not want to take this professor at all. I will give exception that it is lecture based so it is harder to learn than active learning or reverse style, but unlike other classes that carefully format for lecture, he just talks at you.

Extremely disrespectful and does not take any accountability for students that are struggling. Do not bother to dispute your grade with him. Awful at lecturing, and zero engagement with students.

I usually do not write professor ratings, even if the professor is awful but I have to say that you should not be taking professor Srdjan under any circumstances. While he may have a great understanding of the subjects he teaches, he does not have a talent for teaching. The classes are useless and exams are hard.

Messiest class I have ever taken. Be ready to squint as his handwriting is messy and the flow of the content is hard to follow. I have found more than once where a ten minute youtube video could explain further than he could in 2 lectures. His exams are also unnecessarily difficult, with a very heavy weighting.

*AVOID* This is one of the most unnecessarily difficult courses I have ever taken. The actual content is reasonable, but the professor's teaching style makes it insanely confusing. His lectures are incredibly dense and his handwriting is illegible. Be prepared to lose tons of points on very difficult tests even when you get answers entirely right.

Very difficult professor, do not take other any circumstances. He is very lecture heavy, but does not provide any recordings or any lecture notes at all on the material. Homework material really only covers 30% of the exam, with lecture material taking most of it, but does not provide any lecture materials.

Took him a long time ago, Way too much work for a 1 credit lab course. Had another 3-4 credit course that had roughly the same or less amount of work. Eventually dropped the class. Any future students looking at this course, assume it is a 3 or 4 credit course when planning.

Very very bad teacher. If you can avoid him, avoid him no mater what the other teachers ratings are. Lots and lots of work, also be prepared to self study.

He is disrespectful and not considerate of students He does not create a welcoming learning atmosphere and talks in a demeaning manner to students He does not provide example problems ever and the only course content is from his lecture notes and excessively long/confusing homework solutions DO NOT TAKE ANY OF HIS COURSES, he is the worst

Can't figure out what's the boring lab report for.

Lab Reports are unnecessarily long.

Hands down the worst faculty member I have encountered in ECE apartment. Make you do ridiculously amount of work and without willing to help. Online class is useless, office hours are useless. Avoid at all cost.

This was the most work for 1 credit I have ever taken. He makes you write an individual 5-8 page lab report after each lab with an abstract, background, procedure, and conclusion of everything you did in lab. Complete waste of time. You just end up rewording what the lab manual says and it takes about 5 hours. And no I'm not exaggerating.
