Simone is such a kind professor and set very clear standards for the class right at the beginning. This class was very thought provoking, relied on talking with your peers a ton, and had many great guest speakers throughout. Used contract grading, so if you did the assignments with effort and showed up to class, you're sure to get a good grade.

Simone is one of the most caring people I've ever met. She is the sweetest human ever and genuinely cares about her students and their wellbeing.

Literally one of the best people I've ever met. Seriously cares about each of her students. 100% recommend.

Simone is absolutely amazing. She is genuinely one of the best people I've met. Take any class with her that you can!

Amazing professor. Wish I could take other classes with her. She is always so kind and tries to make sure you aren't too stressed out. Lectures are two and a half hours long, but feel much shorter.

Simone is a gem! I feel so lucky that I got the opportunity to take her class. She truly cares for her students and is such a great person.

Simone is an amazing teacher and an even more amazing human being. Take her class! You won't regret it!

aka HIST 515. Simone is phenomenal. You'll have fascinating, thought-provoking discussions in this class. You'll also read some awesome books and learn a lot about Holocaust history. Simone is laid-back, friendly, and she's an expert. TA Irene Resenly is great, too. Take this class.

LOVED this professor. Took qualitative methods with her, she knows her stuff! And she's super interesting, super laid back, and super engaging. Wasn't a hard class, but wasn't easy. It was challenging without making me want to kill myself. The perfect kind of balance. Am going to ask her to be on my dissertation committee.
