I would recommend HDFS 363 to literally everyone. Completely online and super easy, but the information is actually so interesting and can be applied to anyone's life.

She was so kind to students, esp. in light of COVID-19. Provided extensions and dropped the lowest disc. post, response, assignment, and quiz at the end of the semester. I actually learned a lot (wasn't expecting to), and the class was an easy A for the most part. I loved her and would take another class by her in a heartbeat!

Amazing. Such an easy class and the professor is soooo accommodating and understanding.

Honestly a very easy class but also quite interesting, and I learned a lot. The professor was very accommodating, helpful, and knowledgeable. She posed relevant questions for the class to consider and study in their assignments. The class did have a lot of tests, but they were all pretty easy as long as you read the textbook.

Very easy class. You do have to dedicate some time each week to watching the lecture videos and doing the discussions/assignments, but it can all easily be done within 2 hours and then you're set for the week. The weekly quizzes are easy if you did the module, so this class should be an easy A.

This is the best class ever, and I would recommend it to anyone. The only grades are 9 open book quizzes and 9 discussion posts. The material is interesting and the lectures are clear and easy to follow.

Basically the same as HDFS 362. Quizzes and discussion posts/replies. Quizzes again are 25 questions w/ 25 minutes. Discussion post w/ one discussion reply. Super easy and fun. Really, really easy.

Very easy class if you are willing to put in the effort. Weekly or biweekly quizzes and discussion posts. She speaks very clearly in lecture videos and they are easy to watch and learn. You may need to put in a lot of time reading and taking notes, but if you do the quizzes are easy.

Class was super interesting and fun. She is a good lecturer, but pace yourself because watching three lectures in a row the day the quiz is due can get long and annoying.

Took the class just for fun. The class being entirely online allows for a lot of flexibility within your schedule which is nice. And while the quizzes aren't all difficult, quite a few questions were poorly worded and sometimes my score suffered. The modules can be lengthy and the lecturer sounds like she's talking to grade schoolers, annoying

Course was online with 9 25 question quizzes and an optional final. Online modules were interesting - if you like human development - but tended to be pretty lengthy. Had to do 7 out of 8 discussion posts on quick and relevant articles. Make sure to take good notes on modules - it will come up on the quizzes!

Enjoy and learned alot. If study, will do well.

Liked the material

Very interesting

One of the easiest classes I've taken at UW. I didn't put in vast amounts of time, but I took notes during the modules, read the textbook, and took quizzes and got only 2 points off the entire course. Quizzes are 25 questions for 25 minutes, so I recommend knowing your stuff before taking them so you're not fumbling around with notes during quizzes

This class is completely online, and is literally the easiest thing ever as long as you stay up to date on the modules and the corresponding readings. HWs every other week (grade booster) and best 3/4 exams. Take this class as soon as you can, it's interesting and will boost your GPA!

Class is online, but exams are taken in person. Multiple choice exams plus 4 short answer questions. Do the reading and should be fine on exams. She gives out a question bank for the short answers so do those. Overall class was very fair I'd recommend taking it, use the summary boxes at the end of each sect during reading, those give the main pts.
