The lectures are completely unrelated to the exams. There is only one lecture a week, making it difficult to learn material Does almost no practice questions in class - the only material to study for exams besides lecture notes is a 20 question practice exam he releases. This was completely unrelated to the final exam.

Lectures are completely unrelated to the tests and tests are impossibly hard and made to trick you

Plante may be one of the funniest professors I've ever had. He's very smart and makes class light hearted/fun. This semester we had python on problem sets and exams. It sucked but he doesn't expect that much. Exams are full of trick questions so be very careful. All content based off lecture and the slides no textbook. Study the slides for exams.

Absolute beauty. He made his class work online better than any other professor I had. He ran the class in a very straightforward manner. The class was asynchronus with lectures every week, so you have to be disciplined and stay caught up. It was completely test-based, but I felt they were fair and there was a generous curve at the end.

Sebastien is very knowledgeable and interested in the course content and gives clear lectures. My complaint would be that there was no textbook or homework so really all that you had to go off of for exams were his lectures. It's a very low-commitment class.

Great guy. Lectures focus heavily on concepts but the exams are heavily weighted towards complex math.

Love Sebastien, super nice guy. His class was pretty easy, but the content is still pretty great. He could make it way harder and I wish he would because he's a good enough teacher that he would do it well.

Profess Plante is a very friendly guy who really seems to understand the material. He's a solid lecturer, but he'll often use Excel to show examples/solve problems when we don't have that luxury for exams. He only grades based on 2 exams and a cumulative final. I felt like he could have focused more on practice problems in class to help for exams.

Professor Plante was really good! His tests were straight forward, no trickery, tests to see if you truly know the material. Material is interesting and he teaches it well. Would recommend taking 320 with Professor Plante.

Sebastien is a really nice guy that genuinely cares about his students. His lectures can get a bit dry, but if you follow along with his slides you'll be in good shape. There's only 4 grades (heavily favoring a midterm and a final), so make sure you jump on the two problem sets early. Definitely recommend his class.

Professor Plante has a hard class to teach but does a great job with it. The slides are very helpful as well as his review of the last lecture at the beginning of class. He definitely cares that students learn the material and is accessible outside of class.
