I LOVED Professor Chadwick. She was so engaging, relatable, funny, intelligent, and charismatic. Her lectures were super interesting, and even though the textbook got a little boring, she would find an interesting study/video to tie it back. This was her first class as professor and she knocked it out of the park!
Very organized, very knowledgeable, lectures are well structured and interactive, offers EC, fun discussion sections and the course content is sooo interesting. You learn something that improves your relationships and sex life every day. Some people saying tests are too hard/specific but if you're a real STEM major you'll sleep through this class
Super interesting lecturer. Exams are heavily based on readings. Cumulative exam in which 20+ chapters are tested. Nice amount of extra credit. Doesn't provide many helpful study tools.
Sara is a great professor, and very engaging. The class material was fascinating; however, the final grade depends on 4 exams (the last is cumulative!!) an article response paper, and an essay on a book. So if you bomb an exam, it will tank your grade. The discussions are mandatory points, you only get one sick day, not worthwhile in my eyes.
She is a new teacher and has some quirks that I think will work themselves out after the class has ran a few times. Slides are interesting and lectures are fun & she creates an open atmosphere for questions. Many of the exam questions come from the textbook. If I had to take her again I would but the discussions were the worst.
Chadwick doesn't want her students to succeed, she wants to make the course as difficult as possible. She made this class unnecessarily challenging through insanely specific exams. Any little detail from the textbook is fair game yet she barely covers relevant information during lecture. Averages on every exam
Great professor. Clear, engaging, and funny. The class is super material heavy and requires a lot of textbook reading that isn't reviewed in lecture which can be challenging. She is a great lecturer and wants her students to succeed, but the class itself isn't just an easy A. You get what you put into it.
I dropped her class the very first day because the syllabus was riddled with red flags. If you take one of her classes, get ready to never miss a day, because they won't record the lecture, let you zoom in, go over what you missed in office hours, etc. Beware, yall.
one of if not the best professor I have had at Uw-madison. So kind, charismatic, hardworking, knowledgeable and thoughtful! prof chadwick is very involved in her field and brings tons of field knowledge to lectures. Lecture is discussion based with some mini lectures by her and lots of small groups and full group convos. weekly quizzes+1 paper
.
She was such a great professor. Very informative and really taught me a lot about sexuality in science. This class is very discussion heavy, so make sure to read the articles before going to class. At least the articles are actually interesting though!
literally the most amazing prof ever. HATE science, loved this class. prof. chadwick is so kind and a very fair grader, plus her lecture are extremely interesting and she always listens to what we have to say! she even deleted an entire assignment when she noticed that we were kind of stressed out toward the mid-semester point. take her class!!!!
Sara is amazing!!!! Lectures were super personal and focused heavily on discussion, and she brought a ton of insight. Made me actually enjoy science which I did not think was possible.
