Great class on algebraic topology. Professor Sam goes fast, but I learned a lot as a result. He also typesetted his own notes, which were very clear and great.Rate My Professors ↗

Sam is a wonderful professor, and I had wonderful TA for this class (it was Fall 2023)Rate My Professors ↗

Well, he is definitely a talented person, but sometimes he explains things too fast so his students may not understand things well before jumping into the next topic. But he gives rather easy homework and exams, and shout out to his TA Suhas, very helpful teaching assistance, explain things well and guide me through homework.Rate My Professors ↗

Avoid him at all costRate My Professors ↗
Quality 2/5Difficulty 5/5
Avoid taking undergrad classes with him if you can, he goes through topics too fast without explaining the algorithms behind the topic.Rate My Professors ↗

worst math professor ever! his lectures are hard to understand, as i asked many of my classmates, they all could hardly understand his lecture. It seemed he is teaching to himself in the class, and i learnt all it by myself. His homework and exam are extremely difficult, often average to fail though he cut the total degree from 120 to 80.Rate My Professors ↗
