Grade mainly made up of tests, inquisitives, in class participation questions, and a couple extra credit opportunities. I would not take this again as she reads right off the slides and somehow manages to make it the most boring lextRate My Professors ↗
The lectures can be boring and she goes fast so it's very hard to write everything down before she changes slides, but she posts the complete lecture slides before exams. The exams are straightforward so if you study the lecture slides and do the assigned extra readings you will be fine. The paper is easy. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT, easy points!Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Carpenter's course was very lecture-heavy and test based. With three midterms and one paper, there is not much else that contributes to your grade. The paper instructions were quite vague and her lectures are not very engaging. Her tests were quite specific, but doable with a lot of studying.Rate My Professors ↗
lectures are so boring to the point its difficult to be there. The fact that they are mandatory even though she just reads off the slides word for word is ridiculous. wasnt a hard class just difficult to care because of how unpassionate she seems on the subject. Professor Carpenter was a good instructor. Lectures can be boring but that happens for all professors. Textbook and other assigned readings are helpful for understanding the content. I thought Dr. Carpenter was a very good professor. She has a very good knowledge in the field of psychology and her goal for the exams is to help you learn and not to trick you with tiny little details. The homework is not bad at all and it helps you understand the material better. The exams were not terrible, and they were all multiple choice.Rate My Professors ↗
