While her tests were difficult, she gave us guided notes for each lecture, so we knew exactly what to study. She also hosted reviews each week, and additional ones during exam week which I found super helpful given that the course is pretty difficult. Overall, I found her genuinely very caring and helpful, would recommend.Rate My Professors ↗

She was very good at explaining the concepts and how they interrelate to other topics. Not much else to say, other than that she was good at teaching.Rate My Professors ↗
This was a very difficult course. Stella is very passionate about the content and is extremely clear on what will be on exams, however, I did not find her lectures to be helpful. It is hard to pay attention to and I found that learning content on my own was easier.Rate My Professors ↗
Stella is caring, hardworking, and wants you to succeed. She is very accessible outside of class, and her lectures are very professional and tailored to the course concepts.Rate My Professors ↗
I didn't do well in this course but it was entirely my fault. Professor Chan is elegant, organized, and very knowledgeable about economics. Her lectures were thoughtful and just hard enough. She did a great job teaching, but pay attention in the beginning of the semester because once you stop understanding there's no way back.Rate My Professors ↗
Worst professor I have had in my 3 years at UW-Madison so far. Her teaching style is so dry and hard to understand that her lectures are often painful to sit through. The midterms in this course were hard enough, on top of a final exam that felt intended to trick us at every step. Quizzes and HW are easy, but exams are extremely difficult. Avoid.Rate My Professors ↗
