She is a wonderful person (and a native German speaker to boot). Super knowledgeable, kind, caring, understanding, empathetic. Class attendance is mandatory and worth a lot of your grade. As long as you try and put in effort (and somewhat understand German), you should easily get an A.

Sophia is one of the brightest, funniest, most down-to-earth educators you'll ever meet. Extraordinarily approachable, friendly and knowledgeable, she somehow transformed a mandatory course into something genuinely fun. While the German dept as a whole is fantastic, if I could take all of my courses with her, I would.
