She is by far one of the best professors that I have ever taken a class with. She is incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to help students. Great lectures and assigns very interesting readings. Highly recommend.

Prof Brisman was by far my favorite teacher I've had so far. She is extremely personable and really loves what she is teaching. She has a fantastic sense of humor ( actively encouraged our class to make snarky comments about the art). The class she taught was a part of a FIG and had some fairly brutal readings was more than manageable.

Very intresting course. Professor Brisman is very open to the students interest and really makes it her mission to teach rather than just drone on and on about art history. If you are genuinely interested in art history I really recommend her. She is a fair grader, If you put in the work you'll do well. Be prepared to participate!
