The TA that I had was TERRIBLE. She was SO unprofessional. I kid you not, she brought her daughter into the class and let her draw on the board while teaching, more than once. She was late several times, and would not cater to student's schedules when it came to seeing her outside of class. She canceled class on short notice several times as well.

I took this class because her ratings were so high.. plainly put: Lecture is worthless but its 30 percent of your grade so you have to go. Discussions are boring and all you read is black civil rights movement texts. If anything, this course should be an ethnic studies credit as well as com b. Skip this class..it's not all it's cracked up to be.

This was the best class I have ever taken at Madison or at any institution for that matter. Whether or not you need Comm B you should take this class and it will change your life. Don't let the first day intimidate you, its not as difficult as she makes it out to be and you will be happy you stuck it out. Absolutely amazing, TAKE THIS CLASS!!!
