If you want to succeed in this class get ready to turn off your brain! Lectures are not helpful at all and to succeed all you need is good pattern recognition instead of learning the actual information. Shayne Wadle is pretty transparent about what will be on the tests. The tests themselves are not too hard as long as you know what to do on the homework. However, getting the knowledge to do the homework is very difficult even if you go to Wadle's lectures. His slides are confusing and he rarely does any actual problem solving in the class.Rate My Professors ↗
Lectures are very useful and easy to stay focused in because he genuinely cares about the material and wants his students to fully understand it. The homework is very similar to the exams, so it is clear what you need to study.Rate My Professors ↗
Big Shayne is a great professor. The lectures are extremely helpful and informative, and Professor Wadle is very responsive to student's questions and inputs on the course content. He also (almost) always finishes class early to give students time to ask questions afterward. Just taking good notes during lecture has lead me to learn a lot. 10/10Rate My Professors ↗
This course is probably one of the (messiest) course I have ever taken. Lecture is not uesful, his class is inefficient, with lots of mistakes made during in lecture. Lectures videos are granted access based on request, which is the funniest part. PPT notes are useful but messy. Just be ready to self learn everything.Rate My Professors ↗
