Dr. Ofori was an excellent professor. He presented detailed material and we were not just lectured to but asked to participate and explain the linguistic structures we were studying. He was helpful in answering all of our questions if we needed added clarification. His homework and linguistic explanations were specific to our African languages.

Professor Ofori is the best. His knowledge of language and linguistics issues is unparalleled. His introduction to this class is superb, and I have learned so much having to write about and discuss language situations in several African countries. He is also a very generous and respectful human being.

Very knowledgeable Professor. He cares very much about his students success. We are having lot of in class discussion. He teaches to my understanding and gives good notes. All his notes are at Learn at UW. You will learn a lot taking this class as his expectations are very clear.

Seth is an enthusiastic teacher and very knowledgable on the subject, but he is extremely confusing. He stands in front of the class and just talks for the full time.... he also writes complete gibberish on the board. If you are someone who needs clean notes and clear direction, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.
