The class is entertaining, and there is no midterm or final. Raising the insect was cool and low-stress. I believe it's 95%+ for an A, so you will need to be on top of your work. I think this class is best paired with a few test-heavy classes, as you need to dedicate no time to studying for this class.Rate My Professors ↗
Easily the most annoying class I've ever taken. Says he expects "above and beyond" effort for an A and that "expected" effort is an AB, and assigns loads of busy work, but at the same time AI-generates assignment writeups. Grading is a bit strict. Not hard, and meets once a week is a plus. But expect to be really annoyed by work from this class.Rate My Professors ↗
Good class. Easy to get an A if you just do all the assignments. No final exam, only weekly writing assignments, a mini-documentary, small online quizzes, and of course, the raising a moth project. It's a little annoying that the cutoff for an A is a 95%, but the work is so easy that it's not hard to achieve this. Would recommend for easy science.Rate My Professors ↗

Entomology 201 is such an interesting class. You learn so much more than you think. Lots of online stuff so good if you need a more flexible semester. You definitely do have to put in work, lots of projects that you can't just skate through, but they are super interesting.Rate My Professors ↗
I absolutely love Sean, he is so nice and always willing to help you with any questions you may have. You meet once a week for discussion but he also lectures there and does a great job at it. This class is so easy for the most part except when TA Elizabeth Ng grades your stuff she practically grades it based off of whatever mood she's in that day.Rate My Professors ↗
