Really great as a person. There is a lot of reading and assignments based on reading and lectures. Can be hard to keep up with, but he is forgiving in these situations. Having him as a professor is worth it.Rate My Professors ↗
Engaging lecturer, very knowledgeable about Scandinavian folklore. Sometimes grading seemed unclear and ambiguous. Mini essays due every week. Be warned that this class does require a lot of reading to be done prior to class, but no exams or final.Rate My Professors ↗
Really engaging lecturer, I never missed lecture once. Sometimes grading and late policy seemed really ambiguous, probably ended up hurting people more than helping and was more of a pain to grade for him. Mini essay every week. A great professor who you should take if you can! Funny and engaging lectures, though slides are a little lacking. Fair amount of work, no exams just discussion boards and a project. Super understanding with extensions and helping students, can be a bit of a tough grader but always willing to work with you. Would take again in a heartbeat. The goatRate My Professors ↗
