Really knowledgeable in his area of expertise. Very relaxed teaching style, but answers questions very clearly and in a way that is easy to understand. Always responds to emails with detailed answers. His exams were rather hard, and programs were challenging, but I feel i learned more in his 540 class than i would have with any other professor.

Loves his area of expertise and it shows. Explains things clearly and concisely and has fun with it. Really relaxed teaching style while still being super knowledgeable about the topic, but the material isn't going to necessarily be easy. One of my favorite teachers to date.
