Sara is very knowledgable. Her criticism on my papers were very helpful. That said, her lectures are extremely complex at times and can be hard to follow. She is NEVER available during office hours. I'm serious. Prepare to fend for yourself. Overall, I found her overly disorganized. Although she gives out only As and Bs, I do NOT recommend SaraRate My Professors ↗
Prof Guyer is one of the great young professors of the UW English Department. In her criticism courses she does a good job of making difficult philosophical texts understandable to English majors not previously familiar with any philosophy. The class isnt too hard, and she is an expert at what she teaches. Unfortunately, she's a master of rhetoric and deceit; she will brainwash you into wicked philosophies. But, if you're interested in learning ****ed theories on how to understand (falsely) the authors subconscious, sexuality, etc, this is the Professor for you.Rate My Professors ↗
