Everyday in Deutsch 284 I felt like Sabine was my grandmother teaching us literature. she is so helpful, kind, intelligent, patient. The subject matter may get boring at times but you will never be upset with this professor

Really nice about letting me make up work from when I was "sick," though it was obvious she could see right through my puny excuses. With her discomforting eyes of STEEL. Weird sense of humor.

Extremely helpful professor with extensive knowledge of the material. Native speaker of German. One of the best professors I have had at UW Madison. Be sure to participate a lot in the class. It will help your grade. Dont be afraid to stay after class to ask something because she is very good at explaining things one-on-one. Highly recommended!!

She's a decent professor... Not my favorite, but not awful. She's very nice and very smart, but one thing that did bother me was that she is very unorganized and has very little structure. Sometimes I'm pretty sure she's just flying by the seat of her pants, pulling random ideas from nowhere.

Very good teacher. Shows huge interest in subject matter which makes students more interested. She'll grade a lot based on participation, so get involved show an interest in the material.

She's a fairly easy grader from what I could tell; you can put as little or as much effort into her classes as you want, but she'll definitely be there to give you extra help if you really want to try hard. One of my favorite classes ever.
