Not great. He is clearly very knowledgeable and extremely intelligent, but the lecture slides were a mess, and since tests were purely based off of those it made studying extremely tedious and frustrating. Hoping the WSB changes this course structure entirely very soon, but for now I'd avoid.

avoid remi at all costs.

genuinely worst professor ever. the only two positive reviews on here were obviously written by him. Im either going to get an AB or an A, but regardless, NEVER TAKE A CLASS WITH REMI DAVIET

Remi is hands down the worst professor I have had at UW-Madison. His lecture slides are horribly written, he is practically impossible to reach the moment lecture is over, he doesn't give any practice material,TAs don't even know whats going on, and he tries to teach PhD-level material. My only word of advice is to never take a class with Remi.

Professor Remi is so nice and is one of my favourite professors. I don't understand why the ppl below are talking irrationally and with bias. You should be responsible for your low score if you don't show up to class. Professor Remi is very knowledgeable and has a sense of humor, he actually makes tedious stuff more interesting. 100% recommend.

He was a great professor that really cared for those of us that bothered to show up. (lecture/discussion attendance were abysmal) Everyone that went to discussion and lecture thought the exams were easy He would give us information on the job market and made it clear through actions he wanted us to succeed Extremely knowledgeable and fun to talk to

Remi isn't available outside of class, as he doesn't offer office hours. He just reads directly off the slide and provides no further context. Even the TAs agree that he overcomplicates the material, and the TAs told me that they do not understand the material themselves, since it's Phd level material. Worst professor in the entire bschool

Gen bus 307 is the worst class I have taken at Madison and it's not even close. I don't even know what this class is supposed to teach you and remi makes it so tedious for no reason. The activities in this class are super easy, but the exams, hell no. The averages are so low and the grade cutoffs are not in your favor so he def gonna have to curve.

Professor Daviet is horrible, avoid him if you can. He wants to make everything unnecessary difficult for no reason.
