Rebekah is so far one of my favorite teachers at UW-Madison. Loved the class. I do recommend you do your homework on time and put in the effort in this class and you will succeed. You will learn a lot of valuable stuff.

She gave us donuts but was often petty at times and a bit condescending. She grades really hard but the content was interesting so it wasn't all bad. In general I wouldn't recommend her. She often made me question whether or not I was smart enough for college and if I deserved to be at UW.

Honestly, I took the class for the insane amount of requirements it covers. However, it slowly became my favorite course in the Spring, easy A but you will learn more from it than a lot of your "major" courses.

Professor Willett is great. This class was interesting and taught me a lot. No tests so there wasn't any stress. Weekly assignments are just graded on completion essentially. She didn't overcomplicate the course, which I appreciated. I would recommend her.

Professor Wilett wasn't a bad choice by any means, however the course may be harder than it seems. The course comprises primarily of "busy" work and this entails regular assignments, papers and tests every so often. Attendance is not mandatory however you do get extra credit(through TopHat) for attending class.

She is overall a good teacher, but at least in this class it is hard for her to relate to students not planning on going into schools. Also there is a lot of theory study that I have no idea how to apply, even though she asks us to apply it to every assignment.

Super easy weekly homework. 4 very simple 400 word county profile assignments. 3 MC tests, allowed 1 page of notes. Tests are pretty easy. Extra credit offered. Probably don't need to go to lecture but it doesn't hurt

Get to use cheatsheets on all three exams. If you use the study guide provided, you can get a 90%+ on every exam by just taking the info straight off the slides. There are four projects due throughout the semester. Each is about 3 pages and easy to get 100% on. Extra credit available, including TopHat questions from lecture.

Alright so she's super nice and easily reachable. The class is 100% the best choice for ethnics studies. It's easy and you learn a bunch of stuff that you can actually use. I went to 1 lecture outside of tests, and got 100% on the tests. There's three tests, and a bunch of little participation things and cases, but it's so easy.

I'd recommend professor Willett and the class to anyone seeking to fulfill their ethnic studies requirements. There wasn't a ton of outside work outside of the class and the material was relatively interesting.

Rebekah was a pretty good teacher. She reminds me of everyone's cool aunt.

Great professor! Very helpful and understanding.

Rebekah started off to seem like a tough teacher, but throughout the semester she began to care about everyone in the class. She would bring us on field trips, buy us Greenbush (on a regular basis), and if you had any conflict and were unable to finish an assignment, you could work something out with her. Class could get receptive, but was easy.

Class is boring & repetitive, Rebekah is not a great lecturer. She uses a lot of fillers in her lectures (um's and ah's). However, the class is an easy A. Read lecture slides and do the homework to get a credit for your ethnic studies credit.
