The course did not cover the materials stated in his first class. As he claimed, he is teaching some modern Riemannian Geometry. Often, it is hard to get some of the formulae he used, maybe he thought those things were 'obvious'. The final is extremely difficult and extremely tough graded. I really enjoy his lecture and he is definitely an outstanding mathematician. However, it seems to be as difficult as a graduate-level course due to my average math ability. I strongly recommend this course to students who aim to pursue a graduate degree in pure math. Others, like me, may respect it, but chose to drop it.Rate My Professors ↗

No lecture notes until one week before final, and grading expectation was never clear. Homework and exams are mostly reasonable, but sometimes it randomly gets extremely hard (such as on the Midterm and last HW). I appreciate his desire to make Topology accessible, but covering the same thing in 3 layers of abstraction is unnecessary.Rate My Professors ↗
DON'T take his course! Did not follow the textbook, because he is too arrogant. If his teaching method is that "prefect" as he imagine, he can surely wrote his own textbook, and recommend other universities to use. However, this has not become reality.
