221 and 222 were my favorite math courses at UW-Madison because of Professong Song. She would take the time to write out proofs to some of the concepts we were going over and though I'm no genius nor a mathematician I appreciated this because some of the proofs were simply beautiful. Did not understand what she was teaching and it was difficult to learn any concept. She is also a very picky grader and you must solve things her way or you will lose points on tests. Pray for a good TA because that is the only way I made it through the quarterRate My Professors ↗
Great professor. Really clear and usually does a very good job preparing for lecture and presenting the material to the class. Although she has an accent it is no trouble at all to understand her. The only real problem is is that she doesn't really talk TO the class as much as other math professors. She mostly just relays information to the board.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor song is thorough, clear, and well spoken. Her accent is a little thick, but you can understand her. She makes jokes and she is always available to help. Also, her exams are not too difficult. Easily my favorite math professor at UWRate My Professors ↗
