Lectures can be a little dry sometimes, but if you show up and take good notes, you'll do good. If you go to lecture you don't need to read the book. 3 exams, non-cumulative. One 20-point quiz with extra credit opportunity. Very cute little old man that makes jokes every once in a while. Highly recommend this course and professor!Rate My Professors ↗

Really interesting material. He is a good lecturer and a nice guy. Long classes, but they are mostly worth it. No textbook, and only 2 readings a week. Shows lots of vacation photos. Really easy grader. One semester-long journal, and two take home exams.Rate My Professors ↗

Awesome dude! No textbook. Extremely easy. And I actually learned! He posts all slides online, don't really need to go to class. And lectures can be very long but they never go for the full time slot. TAKE THIS CLASSRate My Professors ↗

One of my favorite professors at UW. He is extremely knowledgeable about the topic and very enthusiastic. He gives study guides for the exams, which are exhaustive, but if you take the time to fill them out and study it, you will do well on the exams. Take his class!!Rate My Professors ↗

Fun class. The way it's graded makes it super easy as long as you go to class (2 take homes and a diary each worth 1/3 of your grade). Sometimes it's interesting, sometimes not so much. No textbook and it's easy to get an A without doing the readings. Professor is very nice and passionate about European geography.Rate My Professors ↗
