Lectures were in person but could be done online, so most students just did them online. They are "super" lectures, so they're 75 minutes twice a week. I had Morgan Robinson for a TA and she was very smart but could be cocky. Prof Kaiser was kind of a weird guy and said some strange things in his lecture. I recommend this class for a comm B credit

Good professor but never really interacted with him since all grading is done by the TAs. Rarely went to lectures and still did very well in the class, just make sure to attend discussions as that's where the more important things happen. Homework is extremely minimal, but grading is slightly tough sometimes. Overall a good class for gen eds.

The material for this class can be challenging, but the lectures really bring all of the information together. It is clear that Professor Kaiser is truly interested in the material and extremely knowledgable about each topic we discuss, I definitely recommend!

Dr. Kaiser's class was an utter waste of time. Its exceptionally boring and only provides insights into his personal philosophy. I wish I had taken a different class. If you want an easy A though, he's your guy.

I took this class a year ago, and Kaiser is a great professor. Lectures are kind of long but they are actually pretty interesting. I enjoyed the class, but do your best on the papers and exams because those 4 things are pretty much all of your grade. Overall I thought he was great and I was happy I took the class.

Not a bad lecturer, but really lets his personal politics come into his work and the class. Everything is presented from a marxist viewpoint and never speaks about the benefits that have been created in the modern world. Lots of work and the grades are done 'holistically' which means "if I like you, you get an A." Basically political science.
