Great professor. Pacing was pretty slow, but more examples is better than too few. Otherwise lectures were informative and laidback, with jokes thrown in here and there. Homework is long but rarely redundant/is always helpful to learning the material. Exams were very fair. Definitely take a class with Professor Harron if you canRate My Professors ↗

Keeping in mind that this was hand down the most difficult class I have taken to date, Harron did a very effective job of teaching this very challenging material. He is very approachable and has a likable demeanor and sense of humor. The exams are difficult but not as difficult as most of the homework.Rate My Professors ↗

A great professor. After teaching a new concept, he works a lot of example on the board to make sure we understand. He also will spend multiple days on harder topics which helps. His tests aren't too bad as long as you understand the homework.Rate My Professors ↗

I was extremely nervous about taking Math 217 because Calculus was not exactly one of my strong points but Professor Harron made it very understandable. He is a great lecturer who explains things with words you can understand instead complicated math language. He lectures at a perfect pace and his tests reflect exactly what is said in lecture.Rate My Professors ↗
