The material isn't all that interesting, but he manages to make it pretty fun to listen to. Be sure to listen for the occasional bad dad joke. Lab gets easier as the semester goes on. Be sure to study very hard for the practical. Lab directors are all very helpful and fun. Lecture exams and practical are tough and require a lot of studying.Rate My Professors ↗
He's an okay lecturer in class--depending on the content he can be mildly interesting or a bore. But be prepared for a ridiculous exam. Questions are extremely specific and are on facts that you never will have to recall again. He tests very little on understanding of the concepts--mostly small picky details.Rate My Professors ↗
The is definitely the most boring lecturer of the 4 Zoology professors. He doesn't explain most confusing concepts or spend a long time explaining something that needs no explaining. In his defense, the other lecturers are really good so the bar is set high.Rate My Professors ↗
He's pretty old school--uses ancient-looking overhead slides. Overall, a decent lecturer, gets to the point, speaks clearly, but not very helpful one-on-one. Practice exams are representative of the actual test. The lab requires MANY HOURS devoted outside of class, so prepare to spend your weekend at the lab studying for one of six in-lab exams.Rate My Professors ↗
Poor lecturer, didn't explain very well and just read through his slides- too fast to copy down so you were forced to waste paper printing slides off if you wanted to have any idea what he was talking about. Pointless and really easy to fall asleep in lecture.Rate My Professors ↗
