The most amazing teacher I've ever had. I'm usually bad at keeping up with readings, but he's so caring and has such interesting insights that I wanted to keep up. He's so passionate and brings his personal perspective into class, while making us feel comfortable to share our own takeaways. He made an impact on my life.

Goodkin was a great professor! Definitely take his classes. He cares about his students a lot and wants to help everyone learn. He really leads you in the right direction based on what he wants you to get out of the readings.

M. Goodkin was a good professor. The class was fairly easy as we only had to watch movies, participate, & write 3 papers. He's very passionate about what he teaches & is very open to have discussions about are opinions on the movies. Just a heads up tho, the essays will take you much longer than he says, so start early.

Prof Goodkin is one of my favorite french professors I've ever had. He structures the class really well, and we do careful analyses of the readings (in small groups and as a larger class). Although there is a decent amount of reading, it is manageable. He is a really kind and caring person (super funny too)!!!
