I'd take more if I can. Few assignments but lots of reading and class is a big discussion. Midterm and final are group work but not hard. Just read assignments, bring original ideas to class, work with your group and participate and you'll get an A. He isn't obsessed with grades so you shouldn't be, either.","source_url":"https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/professor/1876332","quality_rating":5,"difficulty_rating":4},{"observed_at":"2026-09-07 16:10:39.222318+00:00","run_id":"20260907T155543-ce3781c4","source_review_id":"UmF0aW5nLTM2MjA2MTY4","source_instructor_id":"rmp:1876332","instructor_name":"Ramzi Fawaz","course_label":"ENGL457","course_id":"ENGL 457","course_uid":"course_00c4f5efea2a785ef579d929","review_date":"2022-05-01 18:26:09 +0000 UTC","comment":"Ramzi is 1 of the most inspiring professors I've ever had. He's witty, fun, open-minded, and welcoming. Sometimes says inflammatory things to get ppl thinking. If u r not familiar with gay culture/history, you will struggle. His lectures are long & he reads from a script, but the class is 99% discussion anyway. A LOT of reading but few assignments.","source_url":"https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/professor/1876332","quality_rating":5,"difficulty_rating":4},{"observed_at":"2026-09-07 16:10:39.222318+00:00","run_id":"20260907T155543-ce3781c4","source_review_id":"UmF0aW5nLTM1ODI1ODUx","source_instructor_id":"rmp:1876332","instructor_name":"Ramzi Fawaz","course_label":"ENGL457","course_id":"ENGL 457","course_uid":"course_00c4f5efea2a785ef579d929","review_date":"2022-02-03 20:28:51 +0000 UTC","comment":"its probably an overwhelming class if you arent exposed to lgbt literatire/history but its an informative course. it is reading INTENSIVE tho 100s of pages a week. but the discussion is fun enough that its worth it","source_url":"https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/professor/1876332","quality_rating":5,"difficulty_rating":4},{"observed_at":"2026-09-07 16:10:39.222318+00:00","run_id":"20260907T155543-ce3781c4","source_review_id":"UmF0aW5nLTM0NTUxNTA3","source_instructor_id":"rmp:1876332","instructor_name":"Ramzi Fawaz","course_label":"ENG245","course_id":null,"course_uid":null,"review_date":"2021-04-14 20:16:07 +0000 UTC","comment":"Ramzi is the best professor I've ever taken.
