Rachel is not very good at public speaking so she often stumbles when talking and makes mistakes when writing example problems on the board. If you talk to her in person she is much better its just that her actual lecture are hard to follow. Her tests are fairly easy though and you shouldn't have much trouble.Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. Davis is probably not a good professor if you do not have previous experience with Calculus. She asks the class to do problems without giving examples first. I frequently lost track of what she was doing on the board. Dr. Davis is an alright professor if you have taken Calculus I before, otherwise you should probably find someone else.Rate My Professors ↗
Rachel Davis is an AWFUL lecturer. My roommate and I had the same lecture and she has taken Calc 1 before and I haven't and neither of us knew what was going on half the time. She gives example problems during lecture without even showing how to do them in the first place and spends half of time explaining proofs that don't help at all.Rate My Professors ↗

Dr. Davis is a terrible lecturer. Often managed to confuse students who had already taken the course with muddled proofs and unacknowledged mistakes. Quizzes are simple, exams are difficult but do-able. If you have already taken Calc 1 you will be okay. If you are learning the material for the first time, FIND A DIFFERENT PROF.Rate My Professors ↗
I attended the first month of lecture. Rachel was very scattered throughout the lectures, constantly writing on the board from a notebook. I took AP Calc AB in high school, go to the discussions, and do the homework. Lectures aren't necessary if you do that.Rate My Professors ↗
