Prof Dudley was very kind and clearly puts a lot of effort into being a good prof. He was a bit unorganized (his first semester teaching 326) but he provided lots of resources and was fair. His HWs and exams were straightforward and he offered extra credit. I think once he gets into the groove of a class he will be a department favorite.

Required us to get 2 textbooks, recommended 4 total to us, and then pulled from and cited other textbooks we do not have access to. If you hand write your notes, it will be impossible to keep up as his lectures are often prewritten. Nice guy, but has poor organizational skills. Often posted necessary homeworks or solutions late.

Lectures were really slide heavy and sometimes a bit disengaging because they were 75 minute power lectures. Professor Dudley was willing to meet outside class and go through hw problems and exams if needed which was helpful. I think the more times he teaches the course, the better it will be, because I know he is a newer professor.

Lots of material covered in lectures, sometimes unclear what we needed to know. However since it was a small class he was available to communicate one-on-one with students and provided constructive feedback.
