The first half of this class is very difficult if you don't already have a strong background in Linear Algebra / Calc 3. We learn a lot of math concepts that are hard to learn on the fly if you don't already know it. However, Prof. Morgado is a great professor and the lectures are interesting. Not a fan of the flipped classroom though.

I took 532 and 539 with Prof. Morgado in two consecutive semesters. He's a nice guy, willing to help his students. He's always happy to help you in lectures and his office hour. He's also very caring. As a non-native speaker, Prof. Morgado listened to me patiently and helped me out. Overall, he is fantastic and worth recommending, just as I did.

The content of the class is great. However, it has a lot of HW/exercise and a group project, so there's a huge workload. Prof Pedro is very nice and apporachable. He always answers any questions you have and provide very good feedback. Recommend take any class with him!

He's a great professor. In 532 he inherited most of the material and had to adhere to the curriculum standards, so there wasn't a lot of flexibility. However, he still managed to be understanding and was willing to stay after class to answer questions. He actually seemed to enjoy teaching as well. One of the best professors I've had.

Solid professor, although the lectures are reused from prior years, he is more than willing to explain and make sure you understand the topics. Most of his classwork is relatively time consuming, like the homework and in-class exercises, but he is more lenient on grading these and sometimes dropped problems if people weren't finishing on time.

Despite the questionable online lectures that he had no control over for the class, Pedro was always willing to explain complicated concepts in a detailed and digestible manner.

Tests only tangentially related to homework and quizzes.
