Patrick Kearney was great. Poli sci/stats is definitely NOT anything near my major (I took it for a QRB) but he managed to make it really interesting. Papers and assignments are easy if you have a clear grasp of coding in R - they will basically write themselves. Would take again.Rate My Professors ↗
Great Professor. Everything is taught in lecture so showing up is important, but if you do and pay attention you will get an A. You'll have to do some simple math but its not bad. He clearly explains what you need to know for the homework and tests. Very helpful in office hours. One of the better professors I've had.Rate My Professors ↗
PMK is one of the best professors at UW. He explains everything clearly so you should have no problem understanding the material, and if you still are having issues he is always available to help one-on-one. One of the best professors I've had in terms of being understanding of students. His lectures are very clear, assignments and tests actually test you on what is learned on lecture, and do not try to trick you. I would highly recommend this class if you are considering it.
