Professor McConnell is seriously amazing. She's so passionate and knowledgeable about basically everything having to do with animals. Getting an A also is very possible - I've never taken a zoo or biology class before and got an A. Reading and attending lectures won't be monitored exactly but both are musts. Highly recommend this class!

Amazing class! My favorite that I've taken so far here. McConnell is a great professor and makes the material so fun to learn. I was genuinely sad on the last day of lecture. Picky grading on papers and exams can be tricky, but the class is so worth it no matter the grade. Definitely take this if you can!

This class is VERY interesting. Definitely not hard to make myself go. A lot harder than I expected because I am not a Zoology major. You basically have to memorize everything covered because it is fair game on the exams. The work is worth taking the class though.

Prof McC was excellent!! By far the most enthralling classes of my college undergrad experience. If you love animals TAKE THIS CLASS. People who gave low ratings usually have very extreme animal views, or people who didn't do well in the class. This class not for slackers! The two exams and papers are complimentary to reflecting class material.
