The most arbitrary grading I've ever had. The cases are just ones she finds online, but they don't really fit into the class at all, so you have to analyze every WORD to find the answer (and it's still highly unlikely to be HER answer). I would avoid if possible.Rate My Professors ↗
Paola is very nice to talk to but the disconnect in in lecture. She tends to use filler words ALOT such as "a". It tends to actually distract me a lot and I counted one day and she averaged saying it 7 times a minute. I feel like she never has a game plan going into class each day and kinda takes it as it goes. Also she is a tough grader.Rate My Professors ↗
Paola is honestly not as bad as some people make it out to be. Her exams were not too difficult at all and everything you need to know is either in the PPT slides or the study questions she gives before the exams. Study those and you'll be fine. Cases & group projects are moderately hard, but just follow the prompts & ask questions if you're stuck.Rate My Professors ↗
Unsure why Paola gets hate here. I was in a lecture 5 students so maybe she just treated us better? Grading sometimes was a bit unclear, and maybe her lectures could have been more exciting, other than that, solid professor! Just get her to like you by participating and you'll be fine. Extremely unclear grading practices and takes off for the littlest things. This could be an extremely interesting topic but Paola just makes it so unbearable.
