I don't find her teaching style well-suited for students. She often comes across as patronising in class and sets expectations that feel unrealistic for a core-level history course. Although attendance is mandatory, lectures largely consist of reading directly from slides, with the addition of unannounced pop quizzes.

Very informative, straightforward teaching style. Paige is such a good teacher (explaining the readings, giving feedback for papers). She's also a really kind individual. Participate actively in the class and work on your paper ahead of time. One of the most interesting classes I've taken at UW Madison!
