Since the beginning of the course and I was totally lost, the lextures are useless and the slides make no sense. The class also relies heavily on the written component of the exam. overall not a great experience, even though it is calc 2 and I like calculus.Rate My Professors ↗

He was a little hard to understand and his lectures were taken essentially straight out of the textbook which was frustrating. Sometimes there were typos in his slides which were not always corrected during lecture, so if a student didn't notice the typo, they'd be screwed. Definitely one of the best in business. I love how his lectures are short yet super effective in conveying concepts. He is also very caring and considerate to extenuating circumstances that students may experience. I once had a problem with my internet while I was trying to finish an exam. Nan Chen was a fantastic professor, and he really cared about his students.
