Absolutely loved her, you can tell she loves what she teaches and cares about her students. Got rid of a textbook, midterm, and moved so much around to help kids when things went online. She focuses on the details a bit but the check ins are easy if you pay attention and always open note, discussions with her were great. Would 100% recommendRate My Professors ↗
Dr. Pandey did such an amazing job teaching online. She utilized many different methods to teach us like listening to lectures, doing check ins, a group project, only 1 paper (the final), and interactive discussion groups to talk about the books we read. She is a very interesting person. Her exams are tough, but doable if you do everything she wants you to. You definitely need to read all the books and participate during discussions. Personally I don't like her history lectures, because she tries to cover too much information. However, lectures about literature are very interesting and inspiring.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Pandey is a great professor, but she definitely pushes you. I don't think it's ultimately a bad thing, but it's pretty tough in the moment. This course was mostly graduate students, and she wasn't shy about expressing her expectation that the undergrads really step up their game. Professor Pandey is really great and really knows her stuff. You can learn a lot taking Latin with her. She is very strict with what she expects and the class can feel a bit heavy because of this attitude, but this rigidity is something uncommon in the department and ultimately I think it leads to better more worthwhile learning outcomes.Rate My Professors ↗
