She is very passionate about what she teaches and cares for all of her students. 25 hours of service learning are required, but the class provides plenty of opportunities. There is a weekly quiz that is open book and collaborative. This class is a very easy A if you have a few people to take the quizzes with.",

The majority of the course is dependent on the service learning/community service project which is easy as long as you stay on task and complete. Would recommend this course to anyone at UW!",

Almost half of your grade is from your volunteer hours, and another fourth is from online (open note) quizzes. Lec slides are online, but Nancy often gives exam hints during class. The actual material is interesting and eye opening. Take this!",

The exams are extremely easy as long as you put in an hour or two to review and the weekly quizzes are a breeze. Although the 3 hour once a week lecture can be long, all the lectures are fascinating and inspiring. I highly recommend!",
