Nancy was a wonderful professor and was really passionate about what she was teaching. Most of your grade is based on the service learning project, which is actually fun if you pick something you're interested in, and weekly online quizzes. Nancy was a wonderful professor. She is very passionate about what she teaches and cares for all of her students. 25 hours of service learning are required, but the class provides plenty of opportunities. There is a weekly quiz that is open book and collaborative. This class is a very easy A if you have a few people to take the quizzes with.Rate My Professors ↗
This woman is amazing. She is passionate not only about the students, but about what she teaches. Lectures are interesting, there are no finals/exams, and most of the grading is based off of the service learning requirement. I would take any class taught by Professor Molfenter.Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. Molfenter was awesome! Very interesting course which you learn all about people with disabilities and Dr. Molfenter makes it fun and engaging. The majority of the course is dependent on the service learning/community service project which is easy as long as you stay on task and complete. Nancy wants all of her students to do well, and she makes it easy to get an A. Almost half of your grade is from your volunteer hours, and another fourth is from online (open note) quizzes. Lec slides are online, but Nancy often gives exam hints during class. The actual material is interesting and eye opening. Take this!Rate My Professors ↗
Nancy is an amazingly caring professor who understands that students have more going on in life then just her class. The exams are extremely easy as long as you put in an hour or two to review and the weekly quizzes are a breeze. Although the 3 hour once a week lecture can be long, all the lectures are fascinating and inspiring. I highly recommend!Rate My Professors ↗
