I don't believe the person who claims Nancy told them "Your German is horrible, etc" - probably someone who thinks they're fluent but sounds like crap. UW Madison is full of them. Nancy is a GREAT Professor and obviously loves German literature. I would recommend her to anyone! Lots of reading but low, low expectations. Class discussion is fun!

Helpful and reasonable, assigns a lot some weeks and not much others, class wasn't too hard but I did test into a higher class and just wanted some retro-credits, knows the book cover to cover, when correcting papers she gives you the exact section that covers the error you made, just try a little and you'll be fineRate My Professors ↗

This is one of those people that makes everyone else feel stupid and bad about themselves and loves to showhow "brilliant" she is.
