Amazing and interesting lectures. The work is very manageable and the readings were usually intriguing. Would recommend to anyone looking for an intro history class. She is also very understanding and respectable to any accommodations.

Prof. Banerjee is very kind and I enjoyed her History 130 class. Her lectures are engaging and you can tell she is passionate about teaching. Very simple course. Weekly discussion posts of 400 words and final paper of 1500. Would recommend.

10/10 recommendation. Dr Mou knows delivers extremely intriguing lectures that talk about different angles of history. She uses really good paintings and other pieces of evidence to complement her teachings, presenting history without any bias. Assignments are fun and the grading criteria is clear. Pre-lecture readings are long but interesting.

Amazing prof. She's kind, understanding, and extremely intelligent. Absolutely recommend!

Professor Banerjee is one of the most charismatic and personable lecturers. Only major grades are for participation and essays, which are interesting assignments involving films and literature reviews, and Professor Banerjee is always willling to help develop ideas and writing.

I cannot say enough good things about Mou. One of my favorite professors of all time (coming from a graduating senior). Caring, intelligent, passionate. She wants you to learn and grow as a historian, and she gives you the support and tools you need to do so. She truly cares about her students well-being, which also really makes her stand out.

Loved this professor. The class was challenging and thought-provoking, but not overly stressful or difficult to manage.

Easily the best professor I've had at UW. She has a lot of trust in her students, she knows that not everybody will read everything but teaches on an honor code, incredibly intelligent and passionate, and makes a genuine effort to know each of her students. She once saw me walking home in the snow in a hoodie and tried to give me her gloves.

Fantastic professor who is thorough in lectures and covers all material needed to do well in the class. Really cares for her students and understands the pressure and stress that college can bring. I highly recommend this class and professor for anyone interested in history or in need of a required credit/field.
