Great professor and awesome guy. Puts a lot of effort into making his classes enjoyable and applicable.

Other RE415 review is too harsh. Yes he is new to teaching the course, but he is still knowledgeable, and quite honestly most of the course is definitions and memorization. The appraisal project I agree is pretty brutal, could use better guidance. Nice guy, good teacher, cares a lot.

He is a nice guy, but that act gets really old when you quickly realize he has no idea how to teach a course on real estate valuation. He was unable to give any insight on the term project because he "knew as much about the project as we did". His instructions are so unclear and he was consistently unable to offer any kind of clarity to them.

A great mentor and someone who cared about my ability to present. This is a man who found his niche and makes learning enjoyable. I looked forward to classes. He tries to make class applicable to industry and actual meetings, which is nice.

The best teacher ive had at UW madison so far.

This guy is a life-changing instructor. He isn't teaching the class to give you a grade, he's teaching it so that you can succeed wherever you end up going in life. The lectures don't require note-taking, they're only there for your own self-improvement, and even if you're afraid of public speaking he will help create a safe environment to learn.

Love this man. Brought a lot of energy to class and made it enjoyable. He knows what he's talking about and communicates it to you clearly. Charismatic. Only downside is that he is a tough grader, but also not mean. You have to work for an A but you won't do worse than a B either. I'd still highly recommend him for EPD 275.

Professor Schlicting is one of the best professors I've had at this university. He's exciting and interesting. He's very interested in you and your development as a presenter and he really cares. He makes class fun and always brings great energy. An always positive guy, he's truly a breathe of fresh air in the engineering department
